Strategy team engages on business critical topics with work structured around 3 key verticals: Asset management, Business planning and Internal strategic consulting for business transformation, all of which involve close interaction with the senior leadership.
- To make the annual operating plan and the long range plan for the asset being managed by factoring in timelines, including approvals, launch, and construction, market sentiment in terms of pricing, structure of land related payments, pay out to private equity partner etc., with aim of efficient cash flow management and preserving the business plan envisaged at the time of deal closing
- Scenario analysis for optimising the business plan
- Determine the key performance indicators for the project for the year and periodic milestones/ KPIs to be achieved by businesses
- Conduct business plan due diligence on new project acquisition opportunities to suggest a go-no-go decision to senior management.
- Liaise with internal business development team and JV partners to validate the business plan and potential risk areas for the project once the deal has been signed
- Identification of risks in the portfolio under management and ensuring that appropriate mitigation plans are put into place
- Identifying & preparing risk mitigation plans (against annual operating metrics, imputed profit drivers, JVP commitments)
- Deep dive into specific problem areas at portfolio level to identify corrective measures through superior problem structuring and analytics.
- Scrutinize the business plans for new projects and ensure adherence to key financial objectives of PBT, NPV, IRR etc. over the life cycle and during specific periods - Facilitating management reviews at zonal and company level
- Timeline management, deliverables management & raising risk flags at appropriate milestones
- Undertake periodic review of the health of assets to ensure that risks are flagged upfront and mitigation plans can be put into place
- Explore avenues of improving returns from projects through analysis of the competition, pricing, sales velocities, project design and costing, cash flow management, financing, and other levers
- Identify and address gaps in business process and ensure their effective implementation across the organization.

- Identifying regional growth strategy drivers and preparing a roadmap to execute the growth plan
