Job Description:
- We are seeking a results-driven Channel Sales Manager to join our Marketing & Sales team in Pune.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets by expanding the current channel partner base into new geographies and effectively closing sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and screen potential channel partners in targeted markets based on business needs.
- Evaluate channel partners for factors such as size, viability, suitability for target markets, and management competency.
- Conduct thorough research on channel partners' track record, experience, credibility, and technical knowledge.
- Manage the registration paperwork and create a comprehensive database of channel partners.
- Align channel partners with the organization's long-term goals to ensure mutual profitability.
- Develop and execute a roadmap for establishing and maintaining stable and effective working relationships with channel partners.
- Assess the revenue impact and explore alternative options when engaging with partners.
- Regularly follow up with channel partners to ensure they meet sales targets.
- Maintain MIS records to track channel partners' performance, invoices, and payments.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in channel sales.
- Strong ability to identify and engage potential channel partners.
- Effective management of channel partner relationships and performance.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining databases and managing paperwork.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills to assess channel partner performance and revenue impact.
