Godrej Industries - Manager - Taxation - Litigation - CA/LLB

This is a role with the Corporate Legal team at Godrej Industries Ltd.

In this role, you will be responsible for litigation support related to Indirect taxation (VAT, CST, Customs, Excise including CENVAT, Service Tax, Foreign Trade Policy, Entry Tax, Octroi /Local Body Tax) and compliance support to Godrej group companies.

Qualification:

Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant with LLB.

- 5-7 years hands-on experience in the field of dealing with litigation and advisory work in specifically VAT, CST, Entry Tax, Customs, Excise, Customs, Service Tax, Foreign Trade Policy.

- Applicants with experience in manufacturing/ industrial sector would be ideal for this role

Skills Required:

- Excellent drafting skills

- Hands on experience in subjects of Indirect Taxes

- Willingness to continuously engage the internal teams with knowledge sessions and sharing /updating on processes and procedures in various Indirect Tax law

- Comfortable with short-notice travel for attending to cases.
