Manager/DGM - Business Analyst

GAVL - Astec Lifesciences Ltd manufactures a wide range of agrochemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Reporting to : CEO

The individual needs to understand the current business needs of an organization in order to identify and reconcile the practical problems and facilitate rapid change and innovation through Project Management. The incumbent must apply a project-based approach to problem-solving and decision-making for business improvement delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Evaluate procedures and processes of the business / project

- To understand & analyse the company financial & performance indicators to aid in decision making

- Preferably should be in a position to understand pharmaceuticals/ chemical industry and able to do market research

- To work closely with the business heads and understand the end to end project / product life cycle

- Conduct comprehensive analysis of the existing system and existing processes with gap-analysis

- Understand and analyse financial budget complying with various department

- Operating as point of contact for all business analysis

- Producing periodic reports on the efficacy of work processes and the effectiveness on current projects

- Implementing quality standards for various operational areas in the business.

- Conducting root-cause analysis and taking preventive measures for repeated issues in business models

- Preparing project profitability of project being executed

- Preparing project costing / budget for project

- Preparing actionable insights & disseminating information through periodical reports

- Should be in a position to asses market for our own technology as well as technologies on which Astec has experience and collect market intelligence in new chemical projects.

- Should be in a position to advice the clients regarding backward/ forward integration in connection with existing products and generate enquiries

- Contacting new clients and get information on new projects.

- Preparing presentations and presenting it to the clients.

- Hands on experience in making proposals, follow up with the clients.

Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech with MBA from premier B school

Experience : 05 to 07 years as business analyst
