ROLE SUMMARY
This is a role for Godrej Industries Limited & Associated Companies (GILAC).
The HR-IT team has been instrumental in playing a strategic role in leveraging technology for deployment of key solutions that have increased the overall productivity of human capital at GILAC. The team manages and supports all HR technology platforms for GILAC. One of the key achievements for the team was ensuring seamless transition, post an exhaustive due diligence, to an integrated platform ‘SuccessFactors’. SF is used for most of our key HR processes such as Performance Management, Talent, 360 degree surveys and Compensation.
As the lead of this team, the role-holder would be instrumental in strategizing and deploying the HR Technology roadmap encompassing all areas within the HR function, based on business objectives. The incumbent will evaluate new solutions to improve existing and upcoming HR processes as well as play a pivotal role in supporting HR systems integration within allocated budgets.
In future this role is expected to take care of all Corporate Non-SAP related applications.
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

- Lead the design and deployment of the technology roadmap and key projects for HR systems based on business needs.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve the operational effectiveness, collaboration and decision-making capabilities of HR through the adoption of technology
- Ensure effective functioning of all current technology platforms such as:
a) SuccessFactors: Key responsibilities would include liaising with the SF team to roll out enhancements, additional modules & manage the relationship.
b) Godrejite - intranet application: Godrejite intranet application is built on Sharepoint & .net technology which is an outsourced module
c) Microsoft portfolio – Key responsibilities would include managing the O365 stack consisting of Sharepoint Online, Yammer, Lync Online etc.
- HR Analytics – drive the HR analytics & reporting for GILAC
- Manage team's activities within established budget, and continuously seek opportunities to reduce IT costs while maintaining agreed service levels and performance targets
- Lead and develop a team of 3 who would collectively understand HR requirements and deploy key technology solutions.
TEAM STRUCTURE
Role reports into the VP - IT. There will be a team of 3 team members reporting to this role.
QUALIFICATION
1. Post graduate in Business Administration in HR or IT.
2. Work experience: 8-10 years of experience with atleast 3-4 years of relevant experience in the HR IT domain.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Project management experience including managing the full life-cycle implementation of key technology projects
2. Handling of Implementation/Upgrade projects of HR tech platforms like SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle
3. Excellent spoken and written communication
4. Understanding of HR processes will be a great advantage
5. Ability to collaborate across levels and functions and influence decision makers
6. Ability to understand trends across HR Technology & how it could be applied at GILAC
7. People management
