Godrej Group - General Manager - IT Supply Chain Planning

This role will act as a IT Centre-of-Excellence (CoE) for Supply Chain Planning and will be responsible for implementation and management of supply chain planning solutions across our businesses globally. The responsibility also includes evaluation and recommendation of business process improvements using industry best practices to address existing and changing business needs.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

(A) Supply Chain Planning Expertise

- Strategize and execute digital transformation of supply chain processes including Demand Sensing, RCCP, Production Planning and Scheduling, Distribution Planning, Truck Load Optimization, Material Requirements Planning etc.

- Excellent business process understanding in the above mentioned supply chain processes.

- Experience in implementation of best in class supply chain planning solutions like SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder etc. in CPG or related industry.

- Analyse business processes to evaluate and recommend IT solutions taking into consideration the business objectives and the functional capabilities of planning solutions.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive process re-engineering / transformation

- Drive application enhancements in the event of organizational changes or changes to business processes

(B) Project Management

- Ensure business IT initiatives are followed through from conceptualization to project implementation.

- Develop, coordinate, and execute project plans for implementation of supply chain planning solutions and functional process improvements

- Engage and manage senior functional stakeholders through effective communication and ensuring business needs are met in a timely manner.

- Liaise with external vendors and partners with regards to configuration, implementation and support of supply chain planning solutions.

(C) Supply Chain Planning Support

- Coordinate with business users, peers in IT Centre of Excellence and vendors/partners for ensuring timely and quality support to incidents and change requests of applications.

- Managing business operations (running the planning processes with service providers)

- Effectively communicate application changes and issues to business stakeholders and external vendors.

- Develop and support Application upgrade plans and disaster recovery and business continuity plans for assigned applications.

- Ensure adequate process controls, process documentation and process governance in support of business applications and also provide support to internal and external application audits.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate should have:

- MCA or B.E. (Computers/ Electronics/ IT)

- MBA or PGDBM is preferred

- The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience with minimum 8 years in supply chain planning including Demand Sensing, RCCP, Production Planning and Scheduling, Distribution Planning, Truck Load Optimization, Material Requirements Planning etc. in a CPG or consulting organization.

- Experience in implementation of best in class supply chain planning solutions like SAP IBP, O9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Must have strong project management and hands on experience in end-to-end implementation of Supply Chain Planning Solutions.

- Strong business process understanding in supply chain planning including Demand Sensing, RCCP, Production Planning and Scheduling, Distribution Planning, Truck Load Optimization, Material Requirements Planning etc.

- CPG industry experience is preferred

- Ability to handle cultural differences and geographical complexities

- Strong communication & interpersonal skills to manage and influence stakeholders

- Willingness to travel for global project implementations
