2.0 Summary of role : As a City Lead, you will be responsible for scaling and leading the operations, warehousing and logistics function for your designated location(s)

3.0 Reports To : Business Head / CEO

4.0 Qualifications : 3-10 years of relevant work experience (preferably from e-commerce, e-grocery or food-tech companies background and graduates from Tier 1-2 Engineering or MBA colleges in India)

5.0 Location : Kolkata, India

6.0 Nature of Employment : Permanent role

9.0 Key Responsibilities of this Role :

- Collaborate with Gobillion leadership team in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans

- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and inter-departmental collaboration

- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity, develop of financial and budgetary plans

- Analyze current operational processes and performance; and design processes for operations, logistics and warehousing

- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives

- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals

- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

- Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring regulations are followed

- Build a strong culture and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

- Coordination with stakeholders including sellers, suppliers and logistics vendors

- Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer orders, manage returns/replacements if any

- Ensure compliance in hub operations and logistics in all areas

- Execute plans for ensuring availability of adequate fleet and/or building the fleet and infrastructure to meet the Supply demand

- Help with building and managing the on-ground team of TLs, Delivery Executives, and delivery fleet and ensure that they follow the required guidelines Ad hoc operational support to the Gobillion business team

- Special Projects - Manage/ Contribute to Special projects such as launching new cities etc.
