Job Purpose :- Support Revenue Management and Reservation System in Navitaire and support the system thereon.
Key Accountabilities :-
1. Shall possess in-depth understanding of aviation systems, especially Passenger Service System (PSS) core functions, preferably Navitaire.
a. Departure Control System (DCS)
- b. Internet Booking Engine (IBE)
- c. e-Commerce
- d. Reservation, Inventory & Ticketing
- e. Global Distribution System (GDS)
- f. Billing & Settlement Plan (BSP)
- g. Interline and Code Share
2. Defining, analyzing and documenting requirements, managing requirements & execution while meeting business stakeholders expectation.
3. Possess excellent analytical skills, ability to understand project scope and objectives and to provide recommendations for business improvements.
4. Proficient in working with stakeholders to shape and innovate business process and process reengineering.
5. Experience in writing specifications, Drawing Business Process diagrams, Use cases, Business Information Maps, Test plans, Test Cases.
6. Very good understanding of IATA's New Distribution Capability (NDC).
7. Excellent experience of messaging standards in Airlines; EDIFACT, Teletype and XML.
8. Review new solutions/ upgrades, obtain agreements from all involved teams to ensure final products meet functional goals of process improvements & cost savings.
9. Experience of working in waterfall and agile environments, creating user stories, participating in scrum meetings.
10. Any past experience in migrating PSS would be an added advantage .
