Job Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Go-to-Market Strategy: Take full ownership of the go-to-market strategy for new and existing products.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the sales team to ensure seamless execution.
- Product Launch Planning: Devise comprehensive go-to-market processes, including planning timelines, launch scenarios, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously analyze competitors to stay ahead in the market.
- Market Knowledge: Develop a detailed understanding of the market's actual needs and customer preferences.
- Risk Management: Identify risks to product lines or sales channels and develop effective response plans.
- Data Management and Intelligence Gathering: Update marketing data regularly and gather new business intelligence to inform strategies.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Liaise with senior teams across multiple channels and transform data-led insights into specific strategic plans.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintain constant communication with brand teams, on-ground sales teams, and distribution partners to ensure alignment and execution.
Qualifications:
- On-Ground Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of on-ground sales experience in the consumer goods space. Field experience is mandatory.
- Passion for Sales and Strategy: Demonstrated passion for numbers, productivity improvement, sales strategy, and working with people.
- Distribution Strategy Knowledge: Solid understanding of consumer goods distribution strategies.
- Communication and Analytical Skills: Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Excel. Excellent interpersonal abilities.
Location: Willingness and ability to work full-time from the company headquarters in Thane, near Mumbai.
