About the role:
We are launching a new electronics distribution business in India, and our first brand partner is Bose Audio. As we scale, we aim to onboard more premium and high-growth brands while establishing a robust distribution network across online and offline channels.
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Business Head / VP who will not only lead and run the entire business operations but also drive growth by acquiring new brand partnerships and, if required, lead fundraising efforts. This is an opportunity to build a business from the ground up, take ownership, and shape its long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Business Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a growth roadmap for the distribution business in India.
- Establish strategic partnerships with premium and emerging electronics brands.
- Set up and scale operational infrastructure for smooth distribution across online and offline channels.
2) P&L & Operational Leadership
- Take full ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales, marketing, and operations team.
- Ensure seamless supply chain, warehousing, and distribution execution.
3) Sales & Marketing Growth
- Expand sales across e-commerce (Amazon, Flipkart, D2C) and offline retail (LFRs, regional distributors, and premium brand stores).
- Drive marketing strategies, including brand positioning and consumer outreach.
- Manage relationships with key retail and e-commerce partners.
4) Business Development & Brand Partnerships
- Identify and onboard new global and Indian electronics brands for exclusive distribution.
- Negotiate contracts and build long-term strategic alliances.
5) Fundraising & Expansion (if required)
- Independently lead fundraising efforts to fuel growth if expansion requires capital.
- Develop investor relations and drive financial planning.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record of leading and scaling a business (preferably in electronics, consumer tech, or distribution).
- 10-15 years of experience in consumer electronics, consumer tech, or distribution business
- Entrepreneurial mindset - someone who has either built a business or led a high-growth vertical in a startup.
- Strong expertise in sales, marketing, and business development, with experience in both online and offline retail.
- Experience in brand partnerships and business negotiations.
- Ability to manage P&L, operations, and team building.
- Fundraising experience is a plus
