About the role
Noise is now the official distributor of Bose digital business in India. We're seeking a Business Head to lead, build, and grow Bose's market share in India across all key categories-audio, home audio, and lifestyle electronics.
This person will own full P&L, GTM, and brand stewardship responsibilities. You'll be in charge of defining strategy, scaling distribution, and ensuring Bose's premium brand equity is preserved and amplified in the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
1) Strategic Leadership & Execution:
- Led the P&L management for online and marketplace channels, including revenue forecasting, cost optimization, and margin management.
- Develop annual operating plans and a 3-year strategic roadmap for the brand in India.
- Develop and execute the online and marketplace distribution strategy for Bose products, ensuring alignment with Noise's overall business and growth objectives.
- Identify new growth opportunities within online and marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), including market expansion, product launch strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Set revenue targets, product mix strategy, and pricing frameworks in alignment with Bose HQ.
2) Marketplace P&L Management:
- Own the P&L for online channels (Bose on Noise's website, marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), ensuring profitability and meeting key financial targets.
- Optimize pricing, product mix, and sales strategies to maximize profit margins and ROI.
- Monitor product inventory, pricing, and promotions on digital platforms to ensure sales objectives are met and stock levels are aligned with demand
3) Channel & Distribution Development
- Develop strong offline distribution muscle: premium CE retailers, large-format stores, and regional chains.
- Build D2C and eCom presence (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) that aligns with Bose's global playbook.
Brand Building & CX:
- Partner with Bose global and local brand teams to localize brand messaging and uphold premium positioning.
- Establish a robust CX and after-sales network to match Bose's global standards.
4) Cross-Functional Leadership
- Hire and lead a cross-functional team across sales, trade marketing, distribution, service, and channel ops.
- Collaborate with Noise's internal teams (finance, logistics, legal, customer support) to build back-end scale.
5) Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in online commerce and marketplaces.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand industry shifts, best practices, and opportunities to outmaneuver competitors in the digital space.
The Ideal Noisemaker:
- 8-12 years of experience in consumer electronics, lifestyle brands, or premium tech/hardware.
- Strong experience in managing P&L for online and marketplace sales, with the ability to optimize sales, margins, and cost structures.
- Strong brand-building mindset with an understanding of premium customer experience.
- Leadership exposure in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments or brand-licensed operations is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management-internal (founders, board) and external (Bose HQ, partners).
- MBA from a Tier 1 institute is preferred but not mandatory.
