Position Details
Key Job Responsibilities:
Accounts & Audit:
- Finalization of accounts, divisional & branch accounting and ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards & Companies Act.
- Monthly MIS including Preparing & submission of Financials & KPI s with in timelines.
- Ensure proper and timely billing of Revenue
- Effective & smooth handling of Internal and Statutory Audits; evaluating internal control systems to highlight shortcomings & implement corrective actions
- Budget preparation and budgetary controls including variance analysis & cost control.
- Debtors- management and credit control.
- Insurance Portfolio.
- Fixed Assets management.
Finance:
- Ability to raise the working Capital & Long term Loans
- Liasoning with Banks, financial Institutions & be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance of loan covenants
- Ensure timely submission of periodical data to Banks
Direct & Indirect Taxes:
- Ensuring timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns and comply with Income Tax law & rules including attending Tax authorities for Assessments & appeals.
- Require Knowledge of Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Vat & Service Tax and ensure filing of returns and taxes in time.
Secretarial:
- Responsible for Secretarial works including conduct of BOD meetings, General Meetings & Committee meetings, filings of various forms & returns with ROC and other Regulatory Authorities. Ensuring Compliance with Companies Act & Other Corporate Laws. Adhere to corporate Governance.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Governance of JV Company
- Ensure compliance with Shareholder Agreement and License agreements
- Preparation and submission of information as required by JV partner in time.
- Good understanding of Finance & Accounts processes and Conceptualize new process under ERP environment
- Ability to interface with multiple stake holders at different levels in the organization (such as Finance, Operational and IT departments) for
- Ability to conduct benchmarking study of processes with other Organizations
- Providing Support /inputs to the Management in Strategic Decision making.
- Ensure Optimum Utilization of available resources.
Technical & Behavioral
- Ability to finalize the Annual report to be sent to the shareholders
- Ability to conceptualize and improvise the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Accounting function.
- Hands on experience in handling Joint Ventures & Group Company related issues.
Education Qualification & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary
- Experience : between 6 - 10 years
- Working experience on any ERP
- Experience with Advertisement Media agencies/ Advertisement Media owners will be preferred.
