GMR Group - Manager - Business Excellence & Quality

JOB PURPOSE:

Establish and drive Business Excellence (BE), Lean Six Sigma & Quality Management System in a service industry.

Business Excellence (BE):

- Implement BE practices in the organization aligned with the Malcolm Baldrige Business Excellence Model.

- Establish BE organisation structure.

- Develop and train workforce on BE framework.

- Organize periodic BE progress reviews with Leadership team.

- Prepare BE application with support from functional departments.

- Prepare assessment plan, site visit plan and assist in action planning to address OFIs (Opportunities for Improvements).

- Track progress of action plans and ensure closure of OFIs.

- Benchmark relevant industries for best practices and participate in various industry excellence awards.

Lean Six Sigma:

- Seek directions from Management to establish annual continuous improvement goals/objectives.

- Identify improvement areas in consultations with Functional Leaders/HOD, employees and stakeholders at large.

- Organize Lean Six Sigma trainings for employees.

- Establish dashboards for project status tracking.

- Organize toll gate reviews with project team.

5S & Kaizen:

- Identify and convert operational areas into 5S zones for better work place management and enhance operational efficiency.

- Train internal staff on Kaizen for continuous improvement and support grass root team in executing Kaizens.

Quality Management System:

- Establish Quality Management System (QMS) in line with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 internal standard.

Educational Qualifications:

- Post-Graduation in Science (Statistics/Mathematics) or B. Tech and Quality Management.

- Qualified Assessor of Quality, Environment, Safety and Business Excellence.

- Six Sigma Black Belt from reputed Institute.

Relevant and total years of Experience:

- 10+ with at least 3 years of working experience in Malcolm Baldrige Business Excellence Model or EFQM Model.

- Total Quality, Six Sigma.
