JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Digital Marketing function which currently houses 6 resources to join one of the most innovative ed-tech companies in the world! If you are bright and have a passion about creating compelling and informative content, then you're in the right place.

1. Work closely with the CEO to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally.

2. Revamp the brand in such a way that customers see us as a highly differentiated product in an otherwise highly competitive space.

3. Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)

4. Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.

5. Leading a team which is responsible for SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Brand Marketing and PPC campaigns.

6. Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas.

7. Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

8. Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.

9. Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)

10. Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness

REQUIREMENT

1. 2-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing with exposure to Brand & Performance Marketing preferably in the ed-tech space

2. MBA from a Tier 1 school in India (ISB, IIM A/B/C/L/K/I, MDI, IIFT, SPJIMR, XLRI, FMS, SIBM, MICA)

3. In-depth understanding of key marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, etc.

4. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

5. Previous leadership experience and a go-getter attitude

6. Analytical, detail-focused mindset
