Role: GM Treasury

Key Responsibilities:

To provide treasury & insurance services to the Region and optimizes companys India’s treasury activities including structuring and financing operations, liquidity and risk management and the treasury aspects of M&A.

The key responsibilities may be divided as follows:

- Funding / Cash Mobilization:

- Aligning with tax to find the most efficient way to fund existing and new operating units.

- Develop Strategies for mobilizing and repatriating cash in an efficient manner.

- Liquidity and Working Cash Management:

- Working with BUs to maximize liquidity and optimize working capital. Supervise and develop cash pooling and netting cash management

- Optimize and manage banking relationships, local and regional.

- Work on various ongoing working capital initiatives and devise new products for working capital improvement.

- Risk Management:

- Corporate Insurance Management

- Ensure Claims timely filed and closed with the Insurance companies.

- Ensure hedging of ECB loans and also providing support to business on forex and commodity hedging.

- Evaluate opportunities on hedging for India Business

- Support and help develop, as well as implement, policies on risk management. Specifically, to protect it’s operating units against forex and interest rate volatility.

- Corporate Control:

- Ensure policies in the treasury area such as bank account management, counterparty risk and forex are followed by the divisions. Co-ordinate planning and forecasting of cash, debt interest expense/income and forex. Ensure that the efficient use of cash at the operating units level is adequately monitored, particularly for “high investment” countries.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualification

- Robust generalist who has an accomplished track record in a blue chip environment; 8-10 years with broad finance experience, of which atleast 4-5 years experience in treasury

- CA or Post graduate degree in Finance

- Professionally qualified in Treasury (Desirable)
