Senior Manager/ General Manager- Bulk Material Trucking at Bangalore/ Chennai

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Ability to independently lead and grow a P & L

- Commercial acumen & analytical skills

- Knowledge of trucking industry and intricacies involved

Qualifications:

- BE, MBA preferred

Experience:

- 8 yrs to 12 years in handling bulk material transportation by road - of Commodities / Metals and similar industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- To manage transportation operations of Bulk Material, optimizing utility of in-house/ third party trucks, gathering market intelligence, ensuring cost effective operations.

- Track, review, analyze & study tender documents for projects and contracts for transport of materials.

- Need to be conversant with analysis of market conditions within the customer base / industries, study trends, report preparation.

- Designing and selection of profitable trucking routes with a focus on maximizing revenue and avoiding transportation pilferage and wastage.

- Responsible for ensuring optimum utilization of manpower.

- Implementation of business growth opportunities and prepare techno-commercial offers & quotations.

- Attend technical queries of customers and suggest appropriate solutions.

- Oversee specific domestic customer accounts and developing new customer accounts based on our growth plans.
