Title : General Manager / Sr. General Manager - Business Development (Domestic Market)

Reporting : Sr. Vice President - Business Strategy and Development

Reportees : 3-5

Location : Mumbai

Job Purpose :

- Lead development of new business opportunities, identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers that support the overall growth strategy.

- To be the owner of the new product process right from identification of opportunity to commercialization of the new product.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conceptualize and develop new products and services - organically or via partnerships and acquisitions

- Develop and manage overall new product development strategy, including the identification, quantification and prioritization of new business opportunities.

- Build comprehensive business case for selected technologies/ product opportunities including an overview of all development/ launch activities.

- Take ownership of existing portfolio of new businesses, making recommendations on which ones have the most upside, developing the supporting business plans, and most importantly, executing to get them to market.

- Building strong and self sustainable NPI & BD team.

Internal Customers : Divisional Heads, Medico Marketing, Market Research, SFE, Clinical Research teams

External Customers : Vendors, Senior management of organizations

Desired Criteria :

- More than 10-12 years with minimum 5 years experience in Business Development
