JOB TITLE - GENERAL MANAGER -SALES & SERVICE
REPORTING TO - DIRECTOR
Location - Delhi
- 10 - 15 years of experience in Auto/ Accessories/ Ancillary Industry.
- MBA/ PGDM qualified
- Should have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to understand profit and loss statements and manage a large, diverse staff.
- Proven skills in business and financial management.
- Ability to take care of Service, Maintenance, Customer Service & efficient manpower management.
- Should have strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team.
- Effective problem - solving and mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced office setting.
- Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning & Management
- Planning, leading, organizing and controlling operations in the sales and service department with accountability on profit & loss.
- Defining the service standards and ensuring compliance to the norms.
- Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually, and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval.
- Effectively communicating with the Reporting Head to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.
- Promote sales and post sales activities to enhance volumes and relationship building with customers
- Tracking competitor activities.
Customer Satisfaction & Service Support
- Communicate the Customer Satisfaction sales related Standards to all sales personnel.
- Responsible in the entire service/ maintenance function & co-coordinating with the customer service team for providing proactive maintenance solutions.
- Monitor results of the Customer Satisfaction Sales Survey and implement process strategies to continually improve customer satisfaction ratings.
- Tracking daily complaints, ensuring proper manpower and route planning to ensure lesser response time and faster speed of service.
- Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Improve ‘Service Readiness’ through adherence to Service Processes.
Dealer Account Management:
- Responsible for development of channel partners.
- Implementation and upkeep of Dealer Management Systems.
- Implementation of Warranty on Web.
- Audit parts claimed under warranty to ensure compliance with policy.
- Ensure partner viability through marketing of packaged services.
- Conduct ‘Time Study’ to identify potential bottlenecks thus improving productivity and reducing downtime of customer complaints.
Team Leadership
- Selecting & training the team members and build an effective / knowledgeable hierarchy.
- Monitoring, managing & mentoring the team for effective service deliverable.
Financial management
- Provide recommendations regarding investments and cash strategies.
- Oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit.
- Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company.
- Provide vision and leadership in long - range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity and solvency of the company.
- Provide recommendations regarding effective utilization of long and short term debt, including refinancing and purchasing/sales.
- Oversee fund raising efforts.
INTERDEPARTMENTAL RELATIONS
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the sales, finance , marketing and other departments
- Maintain cooperative relationships with the other heads.
