We are looking for a General Manager- Sales and Marketing for one of the leading hospital in Health Care industry. The job location is Bangalore. PREFER CANDIDATES FROM FMCG, HEALTHCARE & HOTEL INDUSTRY.
Education:
- Professional Graduation / preferably MBA in Sales & Marketing OR post graduation in Hospital Administration
Professional experience:
Preferably with 12+ years of relevant Sales and Marketing experience at all levels including exposure to, Brand Management, corporate communication, Key account management and corporate accounts.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Maximize revenue for all Hospitals across the country with desired focus across all business segments & key medical specialities.
- Identify, select & build disciplined Sales and Marketing team as per Company standard and drive them to continuously excel the performance.
- Work with unit marketing team to develop Annual Sales & Marketing plan, periodic business review to ensure the implementation in line with the objectives.
Main Job Tasks:
- Build Sales and Marketing team in line with organization goals & standards, drive and motivate them to excel the performance & ensure the Hospitals across the company deliver the revenue budget
- Drive revenue lines across all Hospitals with proper focus on key business verticals and important medical specialties.
- Recruit, train and develop all sales & marketing team as per Company standards.
- Evaluate performance, share feedback, give direction & guide unit Sales & Marketing team to deliver revenue budget.
- Work with CEO and Unit General Managers to ensure specific growth plan devised for the S&M team
- Work closely with TPA’s to ensure seamless experience between the hospital and TPA’s.
- Work closely with PR agency to ensure we have well thought out PR plan for all hospitals across the country.
- Plan and implement advertising budget in conjunction with your supervisor & Unit GM. Ensure there is well thought out Branding activity in place across all units.
- Guide the unit specific marketing plan in line with the revenue objective and key focus on medical specialties and business verticals.
- Ensure strategic direction, innovative marketing program, 360 degree plans & sales strategies in each of the marketing plan clearly directed at business delivery.
- Build robust MIS system & internal sales & marketing reporting system for critical review of business performance.
- Continuously track competition data & work towards exploring pricing opportunities periodically.
- Develop International Patient Business plan with specific focus on business plan, marketing program and develop desired attention thru internal resource deployment.
- Ensure business vertical delivers overall budget with desired support from all support functions. Build overall SOP for the department in conjunction with the CEO and unit GM’s.
- Drive referral team to build comprehensive doctor / physician based Referral Business program to primarily for Referral Hospital. Ensure Referral Business contributes to overall Referral Hospital Business.
- Develop innovative referral program to overcome incentive based program adopted by competition. Extend similar program across other Hospitals over the period & ensure seamless execution
- Build medical marketing program to establish and project key specialty amongst referring fraternity across Karnataka and ensure similar thought process gets extended across all other Hospitals in the country
- Develop and nurture key relationships with corporates and Doctors.
- Continuously extend Neighbour hood markets and develop comprehensive direct and community Marketing program to reach-out the Target audience.
- Develop MIS for reporting of business across all key verticals. Ensure the information being used decisively for making right business decision.
