Reporting to : VP - Sales and Marketing
Reportees : Regional Sales Team
Objective :
- The General Manager - Marketing is responsible for business planning, sales budgeting, and achievement of sales plan.
- Responsible for setting targets for the sales team and support them in their growth plans.
- Has to grow the existing markets and identify new business opportunities for growth.
- Is responsible for credit policy, pricing, margins, working capital management and customer relationship.
Key responsibilities :
Strategic Responsibilities :
- Setting out strategic business plan for the segment
- Annual Sales Budget keeping in line with the growth plan requirements of the organization
- Initiatives for achieving SBP
- Maintaining Price Margins
- Key account management
- New Business Development identification and implementation of action plan
Operational Responsibilities :
- Meet Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Target
- Forecasting to the plan
- Interact with production and PPC to ensure availability of the products
- Performance Review with the sales team and reporting manager
- Collection Plan and meeting the numbers
- Statutory forms C Forms collection on time
- Learning and development of self and team
- Introduction of new product trials, feedback to TI for product improvement
- Maintain sales expenses as per revenue budget
- Identify export markets for growth and meet the sales numbers
- Participation in Trade exhibition, seminars, identification of other promotional needs
Financial Responsibilities :
- Manage/Achieve to plan sales/revenue budgets
- Increase share from new products and new markets.
