Job Description: General Manager, Operations and Business Development

The GM is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of SleepCare including management of the profit and loss statement for the company’s business, as well as the related resources (sales and marketing) associated with the operations. In this capacity, the GM carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations.

The primary role will be to develop and implement strategic plans for the company. The specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Represent the company to the external market through the application of physician relations and marketing activities.

- Developing and managing business development teams

- Develop new business strategies to enhance market share and improve overall performance.

- Work through the management team and medical leadership of the company, serving as a resource to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization and quality goals and objectives, analyze and utilize information to develop and support management decisions.

- Communicate key information to the stakeholders of these service areas with respect to marketplace needs, the competitive environment, cost management, and patient-focused services.

- Expand SleepCare’s outreach activities and referral networks to ensure effective partnerships are formed, which will facilitate the development of a sustainable, comprehensive and geographically dispersed integrated SleepCare network.

- Initiating and finalizing partnership deals to synchronize with the commissioning of new centers.

The role requires significant leadership skill and ability. The GM will be accountable for the overall success of operations of the company. He/she will lead and oversee the development of strategic plans.

Attention is to be given to systems, program development, quality, fiscal management, compliance and physician relationships, outreach strategies, work culture enhancement and internal communication and consensus-building.

Experience: Work requires a minimum of 7 years experience in responsible Healthcare operations at the administrative leadership level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills.

- Well-developed planning, marketing, organizational development, and business skills.

- Experience in administration in a large and complex setting.

- The ability to work with physicians, staff and professionals in multiple settings and locations.

- Information systems capabilities and an appreciation for the data, which will be required to make meaningful management decisions.

- Negotiation and financial analysis skills.
