About our Client - Our client is a leading operator in the Foods & Beverages segment in Travel Retail. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by strategic marketing initiatives and want to become market leaders within the portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a GM/VP Marketing to engage consumers across platforms and drive business revenue targets.
Job Description - Reporting to the COO, the key accountabilities will be:
- Review, develop & execute marketing & branding strategy for company across India/abroad.
- Spearhead conceptualization and creative execution in association with Design & Creative agencies for new F&B / Restaurant concepts.
- Lead brand associations with leading consumer brands for branding, alliances and cross promotions across F&B landscape of the group. These will include pouring rights with beverage brands, space and promotional alliances with consumer brands/food brands, associations and tie-ups with airlines etc.
- Drive and implement innovative communication strategies across traditional and new media to attract new and retain existing customers and manage the relationship with PR/Media agency.
- Create and manage Social media landscape for the brands/in-house and drive customer penetration and revenues from such platforms.
- Monitor, enhance and review effectiveness of existing marketing programs, price change decisions/phasing and revenue per customer.
- Enhance customer penetration, customer revenues and brand preference across restaurants, lounges and kiosk outlets through BTL/ATL/PR activities.
- Initiate consumer research, learning's from international concepts etc. and create new and innovative F&B concepts, menu's and ways to enhance consumer experience.
- Be the custodian of consumer experience across all touch points including land, social media, website, apps and across regional marketing teams and hence drive all functions to enhance consumer centricity and focus on maximum consumer delight.
The Successful Candidate:
- Young & dynamic person with MBA in Marketing from an institute of repute, ideally from FMCG / Telecom / F&B background.
- 10-12 years of work experience in Sales and Marketing assignments at national/regional level (ideally candidate to have a mix of both Sales/Operations and Marketing with at least last 3 years in Marketing).
- Experience in handling Promotions, Alliances, Tie-ups, Cross promotions etc is a must.
- The candidate should have spearheaded some large tie-ups/alliances/deals in the current role.
- Good understanding of brand elements and hands-on experience in managing/rolling out national/regional level campaigns across media vehicles like Print, PR, Online/Social Media, collaterals, store activation etc.
- Experience of working with advertising agencies and promotional agencies for brand activation.
- Expertise in business intelligence/analytics would be an added advantage
