- Position would be eventually elevated to CLO (Chief Learning Officer) Level
- Develops and administers the organization's education, training, and development programs that foster the organizational expertise needed to maximize employee effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensures employee acceptance and adoption of new technologies and business processes through investigating and evaluating them in the context of their applicability to the business.
- Champions the learning initiatives of diverse organizational training and development units; promotes effective knowledge management strategies to meet organizational mission and vision.
- Establishes and maintains a learning/training assessment system in cooperation with internal and external training providers to evaluate the effectiveness of learning outcomes and to implement enhancements as needed.
- Designs and implements various types of high quality adult learning programs.
- Investigates the similarities and differences between behavioral and cognitive learning and publishes findings.
- Predicts industry and marketplace trends and directions for innovative adult learning practices.
- Builds positive connections between employees and adult learning program providers.
- Devises various theories and models of adult learning and implements these into organizational processes.
- Integrates adult learning with the whole learning and development strategy, within the organization.
