Job Description - To support the API Generics Division Sales Head to generate sales for the division by marketing range of API products and achieve sales targets for the year from assigned Territory/Regional markets. Business Development

The Successful Candidate - Should have Strong business/commercial orientation to target, initiate and develop business for Division.
- Should have the ability to handle a team & work with multiple markets & challenges & should have had handled at least 150 customers or more with a business of at least 90 to 100 crores or above.
- Should have a strategic bent of mind with rational thinking, strategizing and coming up with novel and innovative plans to approach problems and issues related to marketing, customer approach, pricing strategy & thereby work to achieve the Division's Strategic Goals.
Business development activities:
- To identify key accounts in assigned territory/region and secure profitable business by offering them a competitive price, service & maintaining a healthy relationship.
- Study market potential / map customers in each market to forecast sales and annual budgeting and ensure targets are met
- Establish direct contacts with end customers and attempt to eliminate agents wherever possible
- Ensure sales targets is achieved as per given forecast and payments are obtained from customers on time and by due date
- Provide Market research through customer feedbacks, key information on international market trends and competition to help the division with future export strategies.
- To add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions and new countries
- Identification of markets and customers for new products and products in pipe-line. Successful launch and ensure sales of new products, once commercialised.
