A. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
a) Establish the Audit Plan to address risk areas identified during the ongoing audit planning process
- Preparing the annual audit plan by considering inputs from various risk drivers and as per IA methodology / risk assessment process.
- Continuously assimilate information regarding major changesand review the plan for adequate coverage of key risks.
- Engage in planning of other business audits of IA to ensure that risks are covered across Functions.
b) Responsible for execution of the audit plan which includes
- Management of co-source partners.
- Assessing the resources from co-source partners to ensure their suitability for the projects.
- Establishing audit scope / objectives /approach of each audit assignment to ensure key risks are covered.
- Regular project review.
- Risk assessment of the observations identified and capturing systemic action plans from departmental heads.
- Ensuring documentation quality and compliance to the IA methodology.
c) Managing cross -functional updates for sr. mgt. discussions. Preparing consolidated updates in order that Sr. mgt. gets a pan business view.
d) Facilitate close-out/debriefing meeting with auditee and review reports for Sr. Mgt. and AC.
e) Close monitoring of controls implementation - tracking and monitoring of closure of ‘Open’ audit issues.
f) Act as an advisor to the line / senior management in suggesting best practices, review existing IS policies and procedures.
g) Coaching and grooming the team / direct reportees as well as auditor of co-source partners.
B. QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPEREINCE
a) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Master in computer science, MBA / MCA / BTech.
- Certifications such as CISA/CISSP / CCNA / CEH / BS7799 / ISO 27000 and experience around these will be preferred.
b) SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent knowledge of overall business processes
- Excellent knowledge of corresponding industry standards / best practices.
- Good knowledge of audit tools.
c) RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
12 – 18 years of total experience
d) OTHER PERSONAL CHARECTERISTICS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good report writing skills
- Quality focus
