Designation - Group Head, HR & Admin
Reports To- Managing Director
Location - : Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Position Summary
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance and direction to the Company businesses based in Tanzania and will be a key driver of the HR agenda.
- They will also drive broader process improvements in HR to achieve improved productivity, customer service and effective standard work.
Candidate Profile
- Education : MBA (from a premier School is desirable)
- Experience : 10-15 years post-qualification experience
Responsibilities in Detail
- Facilitate change efforts across businesses to improve the effectiveness of the company.
- Provide support and counsel to senior leadership in achieving business objectives.
- Drive HR administrative services across businesses as appropriate to improve efficiency and effectiveness of delivery of payroll, benefits and other HR administration.
- Drive HR Leadership development across businesses to facilitate movement of talent across businesses. Ensure that a viable succession plan is in place and that leaders are being groomed for key roles.
- Ensure that development programs are implemented to build organizational capability.
- Ensure that a compatible set of company policies, practices and programs are implemented across group business.
- Works closely with country HR executives and corporate directors.
- Build the leadership bench with robust succession plans for the planned growth.
- Develop a program management approach to university relations across the region.
- Plan, organize, and provide leadership and controlling all administrative functions.
- Plan, organize and develop polices for proper utilization of office furniture and fixtures.
- Develop, monitor and implement standard administrative policies and procedures.
- Gather, adapt, store and distribute information within the company.
- Management of office environment and ensures cleanliness, safety and security.
- Supervise and monitor activities of PABX and transport team.
- Manage quality and cost control.
- Ensure that human and material resources are correctly utilized.
- Meet with the members of management and plan for the future.
