Job Description - This is a pivotal position in finance and accounts department of the Company, responsible for a consolidation of books of accounts, maintaining internal control environment and Management of Tax & Treasury. Reporting to the Finance Director and handling a team of 20 people, you will be responsible for:

- Ensure Completeness, Accuracy & Adherence to Timelines in Monthly Book Closing and Hyperion Reporting by consolidating books under multi factory and multi sales branch office environment.

- Improve internal control environment by driving statutory, tax and internal audits working closely with external auditors

- Fundraising in the form of debt / equity for strategic moves like M&A and expansions

- Ensuring adequate fund availability for day to day operations

- Establish structured approach to achieve 100% compliance in Direct & Indirect tax laws, timely deposit of tax dues & filing of returns.

- Develop Monthly Tax MIS. Identify tax risk areas & put position papers in place for future assessments.

- Improve performance of finance controlling team by periodic communication of latest developments in legislation & Internal & External reporting requirements.

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 12 to 16 years post qualification experience and have been worked in capacity of a Financial Controller in FMCG sector for at least 5 years. You must be well versed with I-GAAP/IFRS reporting and have managing a team of 10-20 people. Further sound knowledge of SAP and a vision to use IT to drive business would go a long way in strengthening your candidature.
