GM - Finance & Accounts (Manufacturing)

- Establish internal financial control. Implementation of SOPs. Finalization of Quarterly/Monthly/Annual Accounts. Debtors & Inventory control. Banking relations. Team development & motivation. Profit enhancement & cost optimization

Responsibilities :

- Design and execute financial controlling tasks

- Organize systems to ensure provision of information and decision support

- Monthly consolidated P&L & variance analysis

- Product costing & profitability analysis

- Treasury Function Working capital management, Long term Debt Management, Trade Finance (L/c, BG, BC) and Credit rating.

- Preparation of Schedule VI P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow

- Handling of internal & statutory audits

- Preparation of Annual Budget & tracking

- Handling of Direct Taxation & TDS related compliances

- Ensures proper compliance's from Taxation points of view (Includes advisory for Direct and Indirect Tax as well as filing of returns, tax payments and handling assessment).

- Understands the concept of Direct (Income Tax) and Indirect (SEZ, Excise, Service tax, Sales Tax).

- Tax Planning and Transfer pricing documentation

- Forex management .

- Leverage IT / SAP requirements

- Ensure maintenance of books of accounts

- Ensure compliance to statutory requirements

- Analysis and reporting of Receivables .

- Planning and forecasting of project receivable and cash flow and monitoring the same and course correction.

- Participation in revenue and profitability budget with Business team.

- Participation in project review.

- Commercial acumen.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets :

- CA / CWA with around 20+ years experience in medium or large organisations, of which five years should be as an independent functional head.

- The position demands a high degree of maturity, dynamism and ability to deal effectively and tactfully with people at all levels. Exposure to IT (ERP) is a must

- Commercially savvy and hands on experience in management accounting and taxation

- Highly motivated self starter with proven ability to lead teams

- Maintain strong connections with several stakeholders in multiple locations

- Must have the ability to lead and influence the organization with integrity and respect

- Superior communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.

- Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
