GM - Engineering/Plant Head - Footwear

We are working with India's leading non-leather footwear company having corporate office in Bangalore with manufacturing unit in 5 location across south India.

Our Client is leading player in the organized rubber footwear sector. They have the state-of-the-art ISO-9001 certified factories across south India. Their portfolio comprises of full range of footwear products made of Natural Rubber (NR), Poly-urethane (PU), Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) soles and has a pan-India distributor network of over four hundred members.

Position - General Manager- Engineering (Bangalore - Peenya)

Qualifications- Be/ B.Tech in Engineering/Production/Mechanical

Experience - 18-22 years

Scope - Bring in a structured approach to the Engineering, Maintenance and EHS Functions at Paragon with a strong focus on optimization across multiple manufacturing locations.

Education/ Skills Required

- The candidate must have experience in managing Lean manufacturing initiatives.

- They must be conversant with Reliability Engineering tools and metrics.

- The incumbent must have hands on experience in Operation of Utilities and must have worked on TPM and TQM.

- The candidate must have strong understanding in implementing EHS systems in accordance with the requirements of International Standards.

- The incumbent must have strong leadership and project management skills.
