Role & responsibilities
As the Tech Services Sales Person for Tech/IT Services, your mission is to drive robust business growth for US (North America) markets, your role is pivotal in expanding our client base and further establishing company as a leading provider of innovative technology solutions and services. By strategi-cally identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and leveraging your in-depth industry knowledge, you will play a vital role in achieving and exceeding sales targets while upholding the company's reputation for excellence and innovation.
Team: Sales Tech Services (North American Market)
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Key emphasis lies in the acquisition of new customers / clients, driven by a proactive and determined ap-proach akin to that of a hunter mindset.
- Identify and target potential clients to achieve sales targets and revenue growth in IT/Tech services.
- Develop a strategic sales plan that includes a clear roadmap for prospecting, lead generation, and client ac-quisition.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Present and demonstrate company's services to clients, addressing their unique needs and challenges effec-tively.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful sales collateral and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring optimal value for both the client and the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's / Masters degree in Business, Marketing, sales or marketing would be a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in B2B sales within the Tech/IT services industry.
- Extensive experience selling Tech/IT services in the North American market, with a successful track record of previous experience in handling $1 million per year.
- Strong network and connections within the Publishing, Education, and Defense sectors would be a plus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of the sales process.
- Hunter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must hold a valid B1 visa and have traveled on this visa within the past three years.
- Should have experience with 70% in a Business Development role and 30% in a Key Account Management (KAM) role.
