Role Objective
Determine digital strategy for the company and champion delivery of the agreed strategy throughout the organization. This position reports to Executive Director
- Drive online as the channel of choice taking full responsibility for all online content.
- Champion the role of digital in all activities and provide digital knowledge input into customer and proposition development
- Constant innovation of new and creative growth strategies
Responsibilities:
I. Planning & Strategic Management:
- Maintain understanding of the latest digital opportunities and trends in consumer interaction with digital technology and inspire the organisation with those possibilities
- Identify opportunities to harness technology to deliver increased traffic to all online content
- Ensure appropriate commercial targets are set for all Ecommerce activity and ensure such activity is appropriately tracked.
- Utilise a range of techniques including but not limiting to SEO/SEM
II. Lead & Manage
- Deliver these commitments through management of the digital team and digital marketing agencies
- Through the digital team, manage the internal network of content authors to ensure that our digital presences meet high usability and effectiveness standards
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and best practice standards
- Support the development of initiatives that build on the brand essence
III. Budgeting
- Presenting the annual budget on time and making sure that all other financial tasks are completed in an efficient and timely matter - Manage digital budgets and budgets allocated and ensuring that appropriate controls are maintained at all levels
Requirement
- Management degree in marketing and any qualification in Digital marketing - Proven working experience in digital marketing - Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns - Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate - Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns - Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement - Total experience of atleast 9 years with minimum 3 years in digital marketing
