GM/DGM - Subscriber/Billing Mgmt System

GM / DGM (OSS/BOSS Specialist/Analyst)

This position is with a leading player in Digital Entertainment Network (through Set Top Box). The job incumbent will directly report to the CEO of the company.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Proven experience in deploying and managing Subscriber Management Systems within a service provider environment.

- Excellent experience with Recurring and Usage based billing.

- Excellent experience with high-volume ETL environments.

- An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different frameworks that may be used

- Experience working with external vendors doing evaluation, selection and contract negotiations.

- Strong leadership and good understanding of competitive technologies to properly assess feasibility of migrating or integrating with solutions hosted on various platforms.

- Strong project management and data interpretation/ analysis skills

- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (storage, computing, network & security)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY DELIVERABLES:

- The role would need to SLA around SMS Master Maintenance, Troubleshooting User Requests & Issues, Maintaining SMS User Access and Rights, Monitoring and Maintaining Solution on Functional and User Acces

- Ensure smooth & timely integration of new network elements(Access control and mediation systems) / services/products

- Requirements Elicitation & Analysis, Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) creation/review, Solution/Business Logic design/records/plug-ins development/review,

- Test Plan creation/review, Gray Box Testing and deployment/integration with CA systems from NDS and Cisco as well as UDR/IPDR from BRAS or other metering elements through defined interfaces

- Candidate must apply advanced analysis skills and experience to provide detailed reliable solutions and estimates for service implementations

- Infrastructure

- Partner management, contract review and invoice settlement for Mediation & Interconnect Billing system relating to Development & Integration

EXPERIENCE:

- 12+ years of IT industry experience; at least 5 years managing the configuration of solutions in the billing, subscriber management and workflow sector

- Minimum 2 years hands experience on Subscriber Management Systems is preferable

- He should be familiar with one of leading COTS product covering Billing and Order Management

QUALIFICATION:

- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science

- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science preferred

COMPENSATION:

Up to Rs. 20 Lacs PA.
