GM/DGM- Digital Supply Chain

Job Role: Digital strategy, execution and sustenance for supply chain and logistics function for Automotive sector and Spares BU.

Roles & Responsibilities: As a department head, your team will lead strategy, delivery, and sustenance of key supply chain digital initiatives for Automotive sector and Spares BU

Strategy:

- Closely work with operations team in the areas of Sales planning, production planning, distribution planning, materials planning, strategic planning, logistics and finance to identify gaps and opportunities for strategic digital interventions.

- Create technology and integration strategy best suited to fit current and target state business requirements.

- Interact with digital solution providers (internal and external) to formulate solution options.

- Create and present business case with impacted KPIs and implementation roadmap to leadership and sponsors.

- Formulate program construct, manage budgets, and address roadblocks leading to program initiation.

Execution:

- Lead blueprinting and process discussions to ensure interventions across people, process and data are identified in line with the target end-state.

- Drive timely delivery of transformation projects in supply chain.

- Lead technical teams - both internal and vendor - to setup right infrastructure and integrations in-line with business requirements and security policies of the organization.

- Manage internal and vendor teams to clear roadblocks, oversee progress and manage escalations.

- Drive steerco meetings with project sponsors for key decisions and support required.

Sustenance:

- Own and manage recurring support, change requests and continuous improvement.

- Ensure continuous service and support for implemented applications including upgrades, downtimes, resources and enhancement.

- Manage team escalations and prioritize activities to restore business operations.

Requirements:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (any discipline)

- Master's degree in Business (MBA) with specialization preferred in operations management or supply chain management

- Additional certifications in supply chain such as APICS or Lean Six Sigma is good to have.

Experience:

- 12 - 14 years of industry or consulting experience in areas such as Demand Planning, Supply planning, S&OP, Inventory planning, logistics and distribution planning.

- Good to have experience in Automotive or any other discreet manufacturing sector.

- Hands-on experience of implementing / or using any one of the leading supply chain technology solutions such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP etc.

- Should have demonstrated experience of working in large cross-functional teams in complex digital engagements.

- Has experience in process mapping methodologies and has conducted several interviews and focus group discussions to gather operational requirements or do competitive or process benchmarking.

- Has demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders through high quality steerco presentations.

- Has a fair understanding of fundamentals of technology stack and cloud architecture.

- Has experience in agile, devops practices. Certification in project management will be an added advantage.

- Is extremely comfortable with analytics tools such as MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access etc.

- Good to have experience in supply chain analytics, SQL and AI/ML applications or concepts.

- Good level of articulation skills with an ability to present (both verbal and written) ideas, findings and analysis to senior stakeholders.
