Profile of the desired Candidate:
Graduate preferably with a PG degree in Management from a reputed Management Institute in India / Developed countries - with minimum 20 years of Experience in International trading and experience in Sales & Marketing in W African markets – especially in Commodities – such as Food related –viz. Rice / other Agri products - preferably in Nigeria – of which minimum 5 years should be in a very senior level position – as head of Sales / Marketing / division head – managing a wide territory & portfolio and handling a turnover of minimum US $ 500.0 + Mill. With hands on experience in having P & L responsibility.
Job Description (Role)
- Playing an active role in firming up aggressive Targets for both Turnover and Net Profit – and drawing up strategies for achieving the same. Ensuring the targets are achieved.
- Capable of putting together the required team with right experience and qualification.
- Ensuring cohesive team work – and keeping the team self motivated to perform for delivering targeted results.
- Striving for and achieving attractive growth rates commensurate to Market & prevailing opportunities.
- Ensuring continuous improvement in Market shares.
- Successfully handling new product launches.
- Adept in logistics and warehouse management and ensuring proper storage and appropriate handling of all products ensuring no stock write offs.
- Capable of imparting due training to the team and good in succession planning.
- IT Savvy with hands on experience (as end user) in SAP
Being a team player - Having Good Peer Relationships and playing an active role in top management in overall achievement of Company results.
