About our Client - Our client is a reputed Indian conglomerate with operations spanning 30 countries, they have turnovers in excess of Rs. 10,000 cr. and have been voted one of the best employers to work with. The have had consistent growth over the past 50 years they have become market leaders in the Engineering and Infrastructure space. Since the business is growing, they have a strong need for General Manager - Commercial Finance to be based in their head office in Mumbai.

Job Description - You would be reporting to the Group CFO and be managing a team of 8 people across various business verticals, as a brief summary:

- Leading the commercial negotiation for any large projects the business undertakes

- Managing the tender costing, negotiation with vendors and monitor variance analysis of the forecasted cost vis a vis the actuals

- Work with the group committee members on the quarterly, yearly budgeting and forecasting exercises

- Ensuring revenue management and maintaining the cash inflows

- Coordinating with the Audit committee on all issues to ensure the business is compliant to statutory requirements

- In addition, you would be required to mentor, motivate and develop the talent in the organisation so as to facilitate career growth.

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified chartered accountant with at least 15 years post qualification experience with strong exposure to the working in the Engineering and Infrastructure industry. You have had hands on experience to project controlling, commercial negotiations with business size of over 1000Cr. across various locations. You have worked with senior level stakeholders and have managed relationships well. A proven track record of success in delivering projects, leadership and successful ventures. Working knowledge of JD Edwards, exposure to MNC and Indian businesses would be a plus.
