About Our Client
Our client is one of the fastest growing Pharmaceutical company and has largest market share in Africa with global revenue of $10bn. They are expanding rapidly and keen to make India the manufacturing hub to support both their Indian and Global markets.
With key hires made this year to stabilize the management team and support the company growth path, they are further looking to strengthen their Commercial and Costing function and are looking for a General Manager to oversee these activities.
Job Description
You will start your career by working closely with the Managing Director and understanding the business in the first 2-3 months. Once done your responsibilities will be:
- Leading the Commercial and Costing plan for the India business in the Pharmaceutical space
- Working closely with suppliers, key stakeholders to understand margins on sales and cost drivers for API's
- Developing strategies for negotiation of RM/PM, third party procurement and ensure sound Purchase decisions
- Setting up key long term partnerships with distributors and help optimize costs
The Successful Applicant
We are looking at preferably ICWA or CA with excellent career path within the Pharmaceutical industry. You have achieved great heights within the Costing and Commercial functions in the past and have had a thorough understanding of API's, PM, FG and Third Party products.
You should have an exposure of 10 minimum years and out of that should have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for at least 5 years.
