Job Family: Business Development
Broad objective of the role:
- To uncover transformational and or latent opportunities in targeted accounts.
- To uplift the profile in front of key customers by changing the nature of discussion with the customer.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive and support Business Development for complex and transformational business opportunities with Enterprise customers in India.
- Activities include customer engagement, developing industry specific expertise and steering deals qualified by this process on need basis,
Customer Engagement:
- Carry out preliminary assessment and then upon qualification of strategic accounts identified by regional Sales Heads in India to build an approach plan for the shortlisted accounts
- Prepare for and moderate exploratory workshops with customer organizations- business leaders (CXOs) under the sponsorship of regional Sales Heads
- Lead discussion with customers on customer's industry trends, critical areas of focus and propose high level technical solution connecting customer's business environment to our solution stack.
- Collate feedback from customer, understand competition portfolio and identify evolving requirements-
- Engage with customers to showcase products /offerings, articulate our value proposition and identify new opportunities which are transformational in nature aimed at enhancing the customer's business value chain
- Develop proposed solutions along with Solutions specialists team to match customer requirements
- Generate deals that can be qualified for the sales, commercial and solutions team to further closure.
Industry Expertise:
- Develop insights into specific industries, key trends impacting their business models and critical technical needs that can solve their business problems.
- Articulate value proposition of tech services and how can help solve the key business concerns.
Enabling Deal Closure:
- Oversee deal progress of identified deals towards closure on a need-to basis by facilitating customer conversations and de-bottlenecking issues at customer end
- Work with internal stakeholders to enable faster closure
- Coordinate with the Product teams to bundle services to meet customer requirements.
Measure of Success:
- Value of qualified transformational opportunities created (and not yet identified in the SFDC)
- Growth of BAU business (OB) from the targeted account over the next 12 months.
- No. of CXOs met.
- No. of customers that invite fo shape their Tech vision/ RFPs/RFIs.
