Global Head - Talent Management & Organization Development
- Responsible for providing leadership of the global talent acquisition function through development and implementation of talent acquisition strategy across the organization and oversight of the talent acquisition function.
- Working with key internal and external stakeholders including resource point of contacts with verticals and departments, contracting agencies and other organizational leadership
- Establish corporate talent acquisition process through the creation of policy and procedure (e.g., SOPs) for stakeholders to ensure communication of staffing needs, a universal understanding of roles and responsibilities, and to facilitate the identification and placement of staff in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provides strategic, globally engaged leadership support; ensures proactive outreach, follow-up, and timely resolution of issues impacting global talent processes.
- Assesses, identifies, and recommends strategies to facilitate hiring and collaboration between global office locations.
- Works in collaboration with legal counsel and the Human Resources department to ensure compliance with applicable employment law and that best practice is implemented to employ a diverse and inclusive global workforce.
- Propose and oversee global talent budget to include personnel, advertising, agency fees, software, and system licenses, etc.
- Strategizing and Leading all people development interventions for the organization which will include selection, executive assessment, coaching, individual development planning, talent review, succession planning and executive development programs
- Leading the performance management process for the organisation with a focus on consistent implementation and capability building
- Supporting the development of high potential employees at senior and mid-career levels, ensuring an enhanced pipeline of high performing professional talent
- Driving the culture building exercise and play a critical role in strategizing Learning & Development interventions to strengthen the people capability.
- Ensure functional capability framework is implemented and proper tracking is done to map ROI for the functions
- Collaborate with the leadership team on the formulation of key strategies by anticipating TM issues and solutions as appropriate
Qualification And Experience:
i. 12-20 years of experience in talent management roles with exposure to and demonstrated competence in other functional areas & directly managing global talent acquisition activities in a FMCG organization In India and having operations/ presence Globally.
ii. In depth experience of Talent management and Organization development practices. Certifications in Talent Management /OD will be an added advantage
iii. Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), AIRS Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR), or a related talent acquisition certification preferred
iv. Experience with an applicant tracking and/or HRIS system required; Taleo Business
v. Knowledge of global labor laws pertaining to the hiring process including in-country salary scales, and standard in-country benefits for multi-national countries.
vi. Knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to hiring compliance including EEO and OFCCP
vii. Work history implementing strategic programs in alignment with organizational goals; ability to translate strategic vision into actionable results on a global basis a must
viii. Understanding of human resource principals including succession planning, retention, and diversity and inclusion strongly preferred
ix. Strong leadership management skills, i.e., comfortable with leading teams under uncertainty, ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and deliver to commitments
x. Excellent interpersonal skills: able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
xi. Exposure to FMCG or allied sectors is an absolute must.
xii. Mathematical and MS Excel competency along with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative metrics with the ability to perform calculations accurately and reconcile numbers.
