GM/AGM - Production - Plasticizers Business

GM/AGM Production (Plasticizers)

- Manage & coordinate plant operations including planning, production, maintenance, quality & new projects.

- Provide direction to subordinate managers, offering professional expertise.

- Monitor performance to ensure that all objectives are achieved within timelines and budget.

- Prepare documentation in line with engineering protocols and regulations.

- Ensure products are compliant with specifications of customers.

- Develop and train personnel.

- Improve end product quality both on costing and customer expectations.

- Develop production plans and meet the same.

- Direct department improvement activities by building cost reduction initiatives, capital project plan and improvement activities.

- Ensures equipment is maintained and in good working condition by scheduling timely and routine preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability.

- Develop a cohesive team.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE or Diploma with 12-22 Years of Experience in Plasticizers Industry is a must & Well versed with the compliances under SEDEX, BRC and ISO 22000.

2. Computer knowledge (ERP knowledge is desired).

3. Strong analytical and creative in problem solving skills.

4. Must have experience of managing large capital investment projects and handling of large number of people.

5. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.

6. Experience in handling extrusion, thermoforming and calendar lines will be considered as relevant. Strong learning aptitude and basic understanding of high-volume manufacturing.

7. Intermediate to advanced computer skills to include MS Office, Microsoft Project or equivalent.
