GM/AGM - Finance & Accounts (CFO)

Responsibilities-

The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Principal accountabilities are:

Planning

- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

- Develop financial and tax strategies

- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.

- Oversight of Accounting Department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions, including internal controls, segregation of duties, and financial procedures.

- Manage other activities as needed, including HR, legal, I.T., contract administration, purchasing, pre-liens and liens.

- Assist with the contracting process, including reviewing and advisingon contracts with owners.

Operations

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

- Provide dashboard reporting (financial and operating metrics) to other members of senior management.

- Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments

- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations

- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced

- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

- Implement operational best practices

- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package

- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions

Financial Information

- Oversee the issuance of financial information & Report financial results to the board of directors

- Review and approve preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting materials

- Hands on and overall responsibility for daily cash management, payroll, company financial statements, annual budgets, job cost and profitability reports, billings, collections, and accounts payable.

Risk Management

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry

- Construct and monitor reliable control systems

- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Funding

- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

- Arrange for debt and equity financing

- Invest funds

- Invest pension funds

- Facilitate to bank auditors.

- Due Diligence.

- Correspondence with banks and clients whenever required.

- Meeting with bankers & financiers on requirement.

- Manage consortium of bankers function smoothly.

- Price & rate negotiation with banks & other financial institutions

- Contract Management.

- Responsible for all the banking operations including Bank Guarantees, ILCs / FLCs, buyers credit and routine banking matters.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. CA/MBA with 10 + years of Experience or CA Inter With 15-20 Years Experience Finance statement / Banking Finance & planning and strategy in Corporate 's & Project Financing Exposure, Fund raising for Infrastructure Highway Project, well versed with Corporate Banking

2. Analytical and strategic thinker able to foresee corporate and economic challenges, and to provide thoughtful and proactive advice and leadership accordingly.

3. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
