About our Client - Our client is a market leader within the manufacturing space with rapid expansion plans in India. With acquisitions and expansion plans (Coming up with an IPO) in India they are currently looking for an experienced professional as a GM - Accounts & Taxation based out of their corporate office in Navi Mumbai.

Job Description -

Reporting directly to the Vice President - Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounting & Finance function, including ensuring effective day to day accounting operations, financial closing and statutory reporting, cash management & Taxation.

You will also play an active role in reviewing existing internal controls and business processes as well as recommending and implementing appropriate improvement and best practices.

You will have good Accounting skills with very good knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, should have handled Direct & Indirect Taxation specially the EOU formalities and capable of handling the Big 4 in audit.

The Successful Candidate -

- For this exciting and yet challenging role we are ideally looking for a qualified CA with at least 10 - 12 years of experience gained in a manufacturing field.

- You must have a high degree of commercial acumen and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

- A strong exposure to local statutory and regulatory and tax compliance is a must.

- You are a dynamic individual who is keen to take a new challenge in his career.

- You should possess strong leadership skills; high level of integrity and the ability to communicate well with various stakeholders and senior management.

- You are self-motivated, resourceful with a ""hands-on"" approach when required.
