We are looking to hire a Global Head of Services Delivery - IT / India Delivery Head-IT, to join our client at Kolkatta, India.

Our Client is a Global Consulting & Technology Organisation.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for the entire delivery of services, programs, projects, COE initiatives,.The incumbent will do all of this in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, and will manage a team of 200+ Business Analysts, Project Managers, Software Developers, Quality Engineers and Release Managers based out of the Kolkatta Setup in India. This position is ultimately responsible for the quality, on time and budget delivery of release objectives to exceed customer expectations, achieve operational profitability, and the highest revenue yield per employee.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership to delivery managers, project managers, business analysts and software teams in Kolkatta, India.

2. Drive software development activities to meet aggressive schedules and timelines while maintaining the highest bar of quality and a focus on exceeding customer expectations

3. Facilitate communication upward and across project teams including project status, justifications for variances and technical information (design and implementation objectives).

4. Ensure all processes and procedures, both internal to the team and interaction with other teams, are followed and work to improve whenever appropriate and necessary.

5. Identify training needs of the team. Plan and execute a structured approach to enhancing the skill level and productivity levels of the team.

6. Monitor projects, revenue yield per employee and customer engagement to drive on-time delivery, project profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

1. 20+ years of IT Software Development and delivery experience including 5+ years in managing global delivery for a Technology Setup.

2. Experience with delivering solutions on varied software applications & new age technology ( IT Application, Mobile Applications, Cloud Based Applications, AI, BI)

3. Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.

4. Understanding of custom software development processes and experience in managing agile development projects is a must.

5. Offshore DM experience (should have handled a large enterprise accounts or multiple small and medium sized accounts)

6. Familiarity with delivering solutions and services across technology platforms

7. Proven experience building, recruiting and leading first-class Development teams

8. B.E / B.Tech/ MCA degree from premier institutes such as IITs/BITs/NITs with a strong background in computer science / information technology
