Global Sales Head - IT Product Firm

Some of them have won awards, scaled across international boundaries and attracted investments from the likes of Google. We are industry agnostic. Our experience spreads across financial services, media, e-commerce, publishing, business services etc, among other industries. Our languages of choice are Python, Ruby, Java and JavaScript however we have worked on a broad range of technologies such as Clojure, Haskel, PhP as well. Our team has extensive global experience building technology businesses.

Position: Head of Sales & Business strategy

We are currently looking for an experienced sales engineer with solid track record of consultative sales in the software services industry and a strong international exposure and network. This is an opportunity to lead a small high quality engineering team. If you believe in the vision of leading a top notch team and bring to bear your experience and creativity in providing technology solutions to business problems, then this is where you can. However, you need to demonstrate the caliber to do that and match up with your teammates.

Skills and Experience :

- At least 3 years of experience in consultative software sales or consulting

- At least 2 years of international work experience

- Familiarity, experience with and opinion on various software product models, technology processes, UX tools, approaches and challenges

- Flawless communication and language skills and successful past experience working with an international clientele

- A solid understanding of software engineering concepts, best practices and processes

- At least 5 years of practical experience creating software products and managing them at scale

- Skilled in at least one programming language (doesn't matter which one): Ruby, Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Lisp (any dialect), Haskell, Erlang, Go, Smalltalk, or any other

- A firm grasp of multi-threading, databases (relational or non-relational), I/O and networking

- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms

- Knowledge of a foreign language is an added advantage
