Position
- As Global project manager, you are responsible for overall performance of the Project Management Team in MedComm Diabetes and Obesity Department including timely planning and proper execution of projects and deliverables.
- You are responsible for the people management function as operational team lead with people management responsibility for Project Managers. Secondly, you are a subject matter expert and is responsible for delivery of projects in a qualitative manner across KOL engagement and Medical Education and driving project management optimisation in the department. You ensure collaboration within the team and within other departments and units of the organization.
- Finally, we expect you to effectively manage and ensure delivery of training and on-boarding of new employees in the team and the department.
Qualifications:
The right candidate for this position would possess below mentioned requirements:
- Masters degree or above in relevant area.
- Minimum formal project management training equivalent to 15 full days continued professional education (PMP certified professional preferred).
- Has 6 or more years of relevant work experience. Affiliate (back office or field) experience preferred
- Substantial experience with Project Management concepts, tools etc.
- Additional education and experience in pharma business/marketing
- Willingness to coach colleagues and support team development
- Strategic mindset
- Ability to manage complex tasks and organizational issues
- Ability to engage and collaborate with people of different cultural background
- Good knowledge of Global Medical Affairs principles and Medical communication requirements
