Global Product Mgr - Pesticides/Agrochemical

We have an urgent vacancy for the profile of Global Product Manager for a leading agrochemical company.

- Job profile involves an in-depth understanding of the global pesticide business with an urge for developing new business opportunities and expanding the existing business, by exploring new markets. Knowledge of the registration and regulatory matters will also be a part of the function. Candidate will be given the responsibility to track the global demand for one or two products country and region wise, tracking seasonal demand, conditions, competitor market share and company market share and be responsible for the business development of these products.

- Candidate must preferably be a graduate in Chemistry or Agricultural Science with an MBA in Marketing /product management/International Trade from a premier Institute with 12 to 15 years of experience in the international market. Superior knowledge of Agricultural sciences, product development, developing applications for existing products, understanding agriculture and market trends etc., will be an added advantage.

- Candidate must have flair for product /market development with analytical and persuasive capabilities. Ability to use technical /market information for new product/new market identification and development of new products is an important prerequisite for the right candidate.

- Should be result oriented, team player, effective communicator and a persuasive leader.

- The candidate should collaborate with Regional sales heads and co-create new business opportunities through market and product development.
