Global Head - Security Engineering

Responsibilities

- Working with the Chief Information Security Officer to manage third-party audits and compliance reviews

- Managing a global team of security engineers

- Identifying gaps reported in audits and suggesting process improvements

- Reserving and refining Security Incident Response frameworks

- Designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) security architectures for Tower's hybrid cloud

- Working closely with IT infrastructure teams to install and manage firewalls, log collectors, endpoint protection and intrusion detection systems

- Collaborating with developers to ensure that code is secure

- Providing security advice and technical support for development teams

- Being informed about the latest security technologies and trends

- Testing security solutions using industry standard analysis criteria

- Delivering technical reports and formal papers on test findings

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years experience in management

- Minimum of 7 years experience in the security field

- Strong understanding of networks and operating systems as well as preventive, detective and offensive security solutions

- Excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, tools, industry best practices, and strategies

- Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls

- Experience conceptualizing and delivering non-trivial development projects

- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders

- Experience with security automation using scripting languages such as Python and Go
