Role - Global Head - L&D ( for a Large IT Organisation)
Location - Mumbai
Reporting to - Global HR Head.
Responsible for the learning operation strategy & execution of Organisation's talent strategies within Organisations Learning and provide strategic direction for organizational and workforce management.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Manage and Develop the Learning Operations team:
- Will be required to build the Global Competency Frame Work for the Organisation.
- Responsible for all management facets of Learning Operations teams (e.g. training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning and annual performance process)
- Work with Leadership Team for on management and development of Learning Operations teams globally.
- Drive collaboration across and among teams within Learning Operations
Manage Learning Operations:
- Develop learning operations strategy and documentation, including solutioning, strategic delivery, and vendor management
- Consult with Organisation-wide Partnerships on innovation and analytics
- Drive development and delivery tools and platforms which support the learner experience
- Support optimization of learning solutions components
- Resolve operational issues across Learning Operations, create operational approach and implement continuous improvement including cost to serve and automation
- Ensure delivery of agreed learning services while achieving cost improvements and productivity gains
Manage to Contract Operational and Financial Commitments:
- Develop strategies to manage and reduce costs on standard learning offerings, assets, technologies, licenses, facilities, subcontractors (where required)
- Manage recruiting, staffing, pyramid mix, utilization, cost-to-serve, and capacity of staff to optimize balance between cost and learning targets
- Create and track to standard service level agreement (SLA) and other financial/operational metrics
- Develop supplier/vendor/sub-contractor strategy for learning operations
- Participate in account quality review process and engage appropriately in the Organisation Quality Assurance program as appropriate
Support Solution Design Processes and Team Leads:
- Support Learning Operations Team Lead with operational functions such as C2S, Automation, personnel, SLA and overall metrics
- Introduce new approaches, solutions, strategies, tools, etc. based on Organisation-wide Partnerships in innovation and analytics
- Push learning operations strategy into the Learning Operations Teams
- Be escalation point for regional training center, ACLC and other delivery channel challenges
- Be escalation point for Knowledge Management Services challenges with industry and offering clients
Education Quantification & Experience :-
- MBA or Equivalent from a Premier Institute
- 18 to 25 Yrs of Experience.
- Prefer candidates who have worked in IT Organisations in past
