About our Client - Our client is a young specialty chemical company with offices around the globe in UAR, Netherlands, USA , Chile & India. The main activity of the company is distribution of specialty chemicals all over the world. The company has established toll manufacturing relationships and is evaluating its own manufacturing. With a successful attempt of building a robust pipeline of products, our client has already added nitrates for fertilizer and other applications as part of its portfolio. In addition, it is active in specialty filler materials for the building materials industry. Our client is aggressively expanding its business all over the world with their products finding applications in many industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, sanitation, nutrition, polymers and many others. Our client works with most Fortune 500 companies making them the recommended name across the industry.
Job Description - Reporting to the Chairman, your job responsibility entails:
1. Sales & Marketing:
- Global sales & marketing including international exhibitions.
- Understanding the product application and non technical needs of the customer.
- Defining marketing and sales tasks and their respective execution steps.
- Budgeting and sales forecasting.
2. Setting up and driving teams of :
- Purchase:
- Guiding sourcing manager in negotiating prices, identifying vendors Logistics:
- Improving current logistic activity with innovative working mechanisms. Supply chain:
- Helping build a detailed supply chain for existing and new product lines. Certifications:
- Validating and understanding certifications required for enhancing business. 3. Launching New products/New market development:
- Identifying significant growth opportunities outside the existing business segments.
- Defining and executing global product-launch-strategies for important/strategic developmental products for new markets, specifically in oil & gas based specialty chemicals.
- Defining the market demand and hence developmental goals and analyzing the market potential and positioning of the company in the relevant field along the R&D development phase.
- Formulating business strategies to have a clear road map for next 5 years
3. Business Development:
- Investigating and leading cooperation/partnership/acquisition opportunities in existing core and related industry markets.
- Conducting potential acquisition targets and integrating into the business line.
The Successful Candidate - You are a Science graduate with B.E / B.Tech in Chemical from the top tier Engineering colleges and an MBA in International business or Foreign trade from the top tier B School. You should have a minimum 15 years of experience across Manufacturing, strategy and Marketing and Sales in the chemical industry. You possess strong commercial and international trade acumen with successful track record of business growth. You have polished communication skills with a high command over English language. You should be willing to travel locally and internationally. You are dynamic, energetic and a self starter willing to take up challenging opportunities with the ability to handle multi dimensional business
