Job description - Analyst, Web Analytics
As a Web Analyst on the Digital Marketing team, you will lead web analytics setup, reporting and analysis efforts for the brand, while also conducting deep dive analysis into web analytics data as well as data in our Customer Data Warehouse (CDW). The expectation is to go beyond traditional web analytics reporting and provide actionable insights and to facilitate change and improve the business. For new initiatives, you can leverage the accumulated knowledge of the team and collaborate with lead analysts of the brands, cross brand manager, and with the Director.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage implementation and maintenance of our web analytics and site testing tools. This includes creating relevant tags, auditing tracking code, and initiating changes to our testing and tracking platforms to accurately measure key performance indicators (KPI- s) and support business decisions.
- Work with UX and digital marketing teams to identify appropriate KPI's to track business metrics and performance of tests, digital assets, and advertisements.
- As needed, produce site performance reports to track KPIs and support ad hoc requests to understand how different factors influence business performance metrics.
- Work with vendors and 3rd parties to negotiate payment terms and support.
- Create custom queries using SQL and analytics tools to pull data from our Customer Data Warehouse (CDW) to develop advanced analytics reporting and answer deeper business questions.
- Work with IT and site managers to setup, review and test analytics tool tagging for site changes, new site features, and initiatives to ensure data quality for existing and new tools.
- Develop and execute A/B and MVT tests on the site in conjunction with the site testing tool and by leveraging the support of our vendor consultants.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and web analytics technology.
- Train end users to effectively identify and utilise the most appropriate web analytics tools for their respective analysis.
Desired Skills and Experience
You could be a fit if you have:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Masters degree in marketing / sciences / business management.
- 1 - 2 years of experience using and setting up web analytics tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Knowledge of website technology a plus (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Working knowledge of digital advertising, specifically paid search, display, and SEO.
- Willingness and ability to take on diverse ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests involving multiple factors. Strong analytical skills and judgement needed to clarify and breakdown problems.
- Proficient with SQL to write queries against enterprise databases and established analytics views of data from base tables.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple work requests and projects. Ability to independently prioritize workload.
- Experience with an A/B and multivariate testing tool desired.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally)
Added advantage if you have:
- Exposure to project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles.
- Consumer finance experience and / or experience in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Balsamiq.
