- Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive business growth through modern trade channels in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in handling key accounts, driving sales, and building long-term partnerships with large retail chains. This role will involve strategic planning, execution, and managing high-profile clients to increase market penetration.


Key Responsibilities:


1. - Account Management:


- Manage and develop relationships with key modern trade accounts to ensure business growth.


- Ensure the timely delivery of products and resolution of issues to maintain a strong client relationship.


- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities with modern trade partners.


2. - Sales & Revenue Growth:


- Develop sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets in the assigned region.


- Monitor and analyze sales performance and develop action plans for continuous improvement.


- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess opportunities and ensure alignment with company objectives.


3. - Promotions & Marketing:


- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and in-store activities in coordination with the marketing team to increase brand visibility.


- Collaborate with trade marketing teams to ensure product displays and promotions are optimized in stores.


4. - Market & Competitor Analysis:


- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adapt strategies.


- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market analysis.


5. - Team Collaboration:


- Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth operations and achievement of sales targets.


- Collaborate with distributors and ensure alignment of strategies to meet business objectives.


6. - Inventory & Supply Management:


- Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure availability of products in modern trade outlets.


- Coordinate with supply chain teams to avoid stockouts and overstocking.


7. - Reporting & Documentation:


- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budget plans regularly.


- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions, communications, and promotional activities.


- Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Education:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.


- Experience:- 4-12 years of experience in modern trade sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.


- Key Expertise:


- Proven experience in key account management and developing client relationships in modern trade channels.


- Strong negotiation and communication skills.


- Understanding of FMCG distribution channels, sales cycles, and market dynamics.


- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
